Pre-owned Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Ultra Deep ref 215.30.46.21.03.002 (2025). Omega celebrated the Seamaster’s 75th anniversary in 2023 by releasing the “Summer Blue” collection, a capsule of 11 different watches featuring a blue dial that reflects the watch’s water resistance.  The further below the ocean’s surface the watch can venture, the deeper the dial color.  The Ultra Deep, with water resistance up to 6,0000 meters, has a distinctive dark blue dial and is decorated with “Summer Blue” Super-LumiNova.

Looking even closer at the dial is a texture that represents the bottom of the Challenger Deep, the deepest known point of the ocean.  The accurate representation was achieved using one million sonar points during the Five Deeps expedition.  The dial is then lacquered to bring out every painstakingly mapped detail. In 2019, an Ultra Deep Concept watch accompanied the Five Deeps expedition as it ventured to the Challenger Deep, an achievement represented on the dial by a hidden message reading, “OMEGA WAS HERE,” which is revealed by shining a UV light at the dial.  The case back on the Summer Blue models is decorated with a Poseidon medallion depicting two different seahorses: the original 1956 seahorse and the other the Omega’s current design.
